Master Chef is a Spanish television program, and it is based on a program of ​​American television cooking with the same title.

This Christmas, 16 children between 8 and 12 years old competed to see who was the best chef. They had participated in different tests related to cooking, and a jury evaluated them. One of these guys is from Barcelona, he lives the kitchen with special passion and he wants to become a great chef in the future. He started cooking with four years and, despite his age, he writes a cooking blog, but he didn’t win.

The winner was Mario, a young boy from La Rioja. He is a 12 years old boy and produces some excellent dishes.  The award was a credit of 12,000 € to continue with his education, but every child left with a gift and an unforgettable experience.

This program hopes to inspire children to learn about healthy food or cooking skills and also promotes values ​​such as respect and teamwork.
